So I Saw this really funny article in the Trib today.

    Headline: English language freed!
America expects mangled dialect to make full recovery.

Article: As of today, no longer will you watch your president improvise his way toward coherence. No longer will you listen with suspence while the leader of the free world manhandles Mother English into a balloon animal.
Many agree this is a good thing. But isn't there something to be said for a president who is so empathetic that he understands "how hard it is for you to put food on your family?" Like Thomas Jefferson, who coined "belittle," and John Adams, who creased "caucus," George W. Bush has given us some unique terms and phrasings - some of which we don't want to see fade away: ... The article goes on to try to define terms Bush has come up with such as Misunderestimate and Strategery.

As horrible of a president George Bush was, He was pretty entertaining to make fun of.

Thus far, This winter break has been epic.
I had a great Christmas (besides the strep throat that over came my immune system) but a little antibiotics kept it in check.
THEN, My 21st was nothing short of amazing. Fitz's was so much fun, and some of my best friends were there. Even a few people I wasn't even expecting to see. Tyler was in town from Montana and made it, so that was pretty awesome.
Then New Years came, it had a little drama, but that just made the adventure for me and Jenni more exciting haha.
I have been hanging out with Jenni so much, and it's great.
    I have gone sledding twice
and I also have been working out.
Me and Angelo went to Xport and did some mad working out. We played some basketball, then did an hour of ab workouts, then swam 10 laps in the pool, then chilled in the hot tub for a while.
Thursday we are going out to do some drinking since Jenni is turning 21. THAT will amazing. Im sooo PUMPED haha.

Break is only half over... And hopefully the 2nd half will

    Yesterday I voted.
Then went to the library and studies DNA replication, transcription and translation and studied the diseased clostridum causes. Then spent the rest of the night smiling as I watched Obama gain more and more electoral votes on CNN.

I really would have loved to be in Grant park and have that experience. It looked so amazing.

But with a nice sunny 70 degree day and Obama winning the election I dont know what could have made yesterday a better day.

I know its crazy to think that he will do everything he promised, I know he will not even come close. But I truly do believe he can bring a positive change to our country.

I can not wait until January 20th 2009.

    Barack and Roll!!!

I just spent forever making an annotated bibliography for our politics group project.
    I HATE MLA FORMAT!

I did better on my bacteriology lab practical than I thought.
and so hopfully I can still get an A in that class.

I figured out what classes I'm taking next semester with my advisor.
Abnormal Psych (then only 1 more Psych class for my minor)
Problems of Philosophy (then only one more Gen Ed. for my associates)
    and 2 Nursing classes.
    Should be an alright semester.

Yesterday me and this girl from work were talking about how sexy our hair looked when we were in arizona.
It just layed flat and perfect, and was never frizzy.

I wish my hair looked like that everyday, damn you chicago and your humidity, wind, and overall wetness.

That and they have javelinas in Arizona. How cool is that!

Tuesdays White Sox game was by far the greatest baseball game I have ever been to...
Going into the game, I was expecting a highscoring game, where the Twins would get ahead and the Sox would have to fight to gain a lead... by the 5th inning there were still no runs.

Johnny Danks pitched the greatest game of his life...
And then when the Twins had a guy on second... Griffy Jr. made a great throw, but AJ made an even more amazing catch to get the out at home plate...

Jim Thome, 461 foot home run... theres not much more to say about that...incredible...

and finally Andersons dive to get the last out of the game...

The Sox have brought me so up and down over this last season. They tore me apart after the Twins swept them and they lost their 2.5 game lead in the division... but then they brought me even lower when they just couldnt clinch the division while playing the Indians. EVEN THOUGH THE ROYALS HAD WON 2 GAMES AGAINST THE TWINS and gave the Sox the oppertunity they needed.
But on Tuesday, reguardless to how any previous games were played, the Sox made game 163 the greatest game of baseball I have ever seen. They brought me back together and made me ecstatic, they made me love baseball, and this 2008 team more than I ever have before.

Sometimes I believe that the Sox just cant play baseball, they get in these slumps and rip out their fans emotions, and it makes me feel terrible. but then they turn around and make every play of the season worth while.

Game 163, BLACKOUT, 1-0 score, Sox go to the playoffs. Words could not describe the feelings of everyone in that stadium when Brian Anderson dove and got that final out...

I don't think I could ever feel that great at a baseball game again.

Hopefully, going into the playoffs, the sox can take this feeling, and this momentum and do something with it.
The Sox are not favored to win the world series... but it is the playoffs, and they COULD win it. But even if they get knocked out in the playoffs, game 163 was my World Series, and reguardless of how the playoffs turn out, I can remember the 2008 season as great season.

Vazquez pitches in an hour an a half... and we can see where this sox team can take us.
